UJET Opens Its First Office in Portugal to Accelerate Contact Center Innovation Through AI

Company focused on transforming Customer Experience (CX) through Artificial Intelligence chooses Porto as its European tech hub

Porto, April 29, 2026 – UJET, a global leader in customer experience (CX) transformation through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a member of the Porto Tech Hub, will inaugurate its first office in Portugal, located in Porto, on April 29th. This move reinforces the company's strategic commitment to Portugal as its primary technological hub and Center of Excellence in Europe.

The opening of the Porto office follows a $76 million funding round in 2024, supported by investors including Sapphire Ventures, GV (Google Ventures), Kleiner Perkins, and Citi Ventures. Since its founding, UJET has raised more than $150 million in total investment.

Founded in 2015 in San Francisco, California, UJET has been consolidating its international presence, supporting companies in over 20 countries across North America, Europe, and Asia. With a global team of over 300 employees—60+ of whom are based in Portugal—the company now seeks to continue its growth in the country by leveraging high-quality national talent, particularly in the fields of software engineering and product management.

The choice of Porto is a strategic step in an European expansion focused on technological innovation:
